We Create Fangames.
The Glee Chronicles (also known as Blainequest) are a series of Games that adapt the story of Glee into a swords-and-sorcery epic, using Blaine and Kurt as focal characters. The Full version of The Glee Chronicles: Blainequest can be downloaded by clicking the link to the left.
Our tracked tags are daltongames and blainequest.
Currently working on:
The Glee Chronicles: Somewhere Only We Know.
TGC: SOWK 0.1 (FIRST DEMO)
Next Release: TBD (LATE APRIL / MAY) (60% COMPLETE)

TGC: Somewhere Only We Know: Sneek Peek: Naval Exercises

Another minigame. A simple shooter clone. As with the fishing minigame, it isn’t necessary to play it to complete the game, but it doesn’t hurt. Graphics are WIP, although at this stage may not get updated until the second demo.

The Glee Chronicles: Somewhere Only We Know: Sneak Peek: Fishing!

Who doesn’t love a good minigame? Fishing provides a small distraction, is fairly straight forward and allows players to find a few hidden items.

The Glee Chronicles: SOWK Deleted Scenes: Ohia

My original approach to SOWK was to use a World Map, but it ultimately proved to be a little awkward as a concept. So, here’s what could have been, but never made it to completion (click through to view the large, in-progress version).

Minor Snag:

Our resident Artist, the fabulous yomawari.tumblr.com has become too busy to carry on doing art for SOWK. This is unfortunate, to say the least. If any of y’all happen to be artists and would be willing to help, flick me a message and help a fan game maker out?

The Glee Chronicles: Somewhere Only We Know: Sneak Peek - Battle System.

Whoops. Hit some minor snags in development, guys. Not to worry, back on track, and with some pretty new things to show off too!

I got a new computer recently and every time I go to play Blainequest, this warning pops up. Any ideas on how to fix this?

This is a tricky one. It’s not a problem with the game, it’s with system files of your new PC. Which is fine, it’s just running without some files that have since been rendered unnecessary, but it leaves some things (like BQ) in the lurch (for the record, this game was designed with Windows XP’s framework in mind. It’s getting pretty old).
There’s something of a hotfix to be found at this link, although it’s a pretty half-and-half thing.
Apparently the most robust way to fix this is to get the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable from Microsoft’s website.

TGC: SOWK: Sneak Peek: Carmel / Night Of Neglect Script Fragment

It’s taking me forever to kick the butt of these scripts, I swear.

TGC: SOWK: Sneak Peek: World Select (Beta)

You can no longer walk between major locations (e.g. Dalton to Lima), but that’s a good thing! Now I can spread the game out over a larger world and, in the process, make the individual areas bigger. Each update will revolve around one of these individual areas, although the opening section will feature a few smaller ones.
